The European Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) came into force on January 1st, 2024.
More demanding than the previous NFRD, the CSRD, via the sustainability report, will standardize the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) information shared by companies concerning their impacts on nature and people. The CSRD will also enable us to understand the risks faced by organizations, and the opportunities that the new ecological and social situation may present for them.
As a major development, the CSRD enshrines the reconciliation of financial and extra-financial aspects: ESG objectives must be supported by a detailed financing plan, and integrated into the financial statements.

- Objective: Discover carbon footprinting and ecological accounting methodologies in relation to CSRD.
- Contents: Structuring the carbon footprint to meet reporting requirements and using the information from the carbon footprint to build an ambitious climate strategy. Discovery of ecological accounting through the C.A.R.E (Comprehensive Accounting in Respect of Ecology) model, a strategic lever for aligning ecological, human and financial issues.
